AT&T Expanding New 3G and More

3gAT&T has unveiled its latest expansion plans for Texas for 2009 by implementing many enhancements to its 3G wireless network in differing areas of Texas.  This new array will add much needed capacity to the network to support the growing demand for 3G mobile broadband service.  This new system amply provide improved enclosed 3G wireless coverage for customers.

AT&T's 3G network is expected to start a new era of advanced mobile services and feature improved audio/video content like the AT&T Video Share, a new technology that allows users to share live video during a mobile call.

AT&T's wireless network is based on GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) technologies, the most open and widely used wireless network platform in the world. As a result, only AT&T can offer 3G data roaming in more than 70 countries, as well as voice calling in more than 200 countries, in addition to AT&T's constant 3G expansion in the U.S. Nearly all devices in AT&T's current portfolio can be used globally.

In addition, the AT&T U-verse services will be expanded, including AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice.  AT&T operates more than 200 AT&T-owned retail locations in Texas.
