Cricket Unveils Latest Integration

phone Cricket Communications has reportedly released the Bridgewater's WideSpan 5000 system in a live network environment. The integrated system will help Cricket manage growth in the company's unlimited wireless service.

Bridgewater Systems is a mobile personalization company which enables service providers to efficiently manage and profit from mobile data services, content and commerce. The company made headlines last week when Iusacell, Mexico's third largest mobile service provider, deployed the Bridgewater Service Controller and Bridgewater's Subscriber Data Broker.

The Bridgewater WideSpan 5000 system enables personalization in a high mobile transaction environment. The solution integrates the Bridgewater Service Controller and the Bridgewater Application Policy Controller products in a highly-scalable, carrier-class blade server environment.

Service providers can leverage the system to rapidly scale mobile data transactions. And, company officials explain that each element of the Bridgewater portfolio has a certified transaction volume and is deployed on a common WideSpan carrier-class blade server system.

Bridgewater’s WideSpan 5000 system also eliminates the cost and burden of system engineering, configuration and procurement. This can be achieved as the WideSpan system components are delivered preconfigured, prepackaged and with certified transaction throughput.
