As everyone knows, online scammers are increasingly attacking computer and other devices for your information, but now predators are attacking on a new level.  Now, wireless users are the latest target for access to personal data.
Scammers are using a method called, "Smishing, taken from SMS-the protocol used to transmit text messages via wireless devices," to access your accounts and gain entry to your information. Through text messages, a user may be asked to register to an online service.  What seems harmless is now an access point to your network. Predators attempt to pass a virus onto the users' device by leaving a virus-like worm that will spread through-out the network. From lower level problems to newer techniques that download a nasty program to eavesdrop on conversations.
Although rare, for now, more and more wireless users are coming online and not aware of the dangers of information pirating. This concerns the wireless industry, especially those with large business networks, who are starting to understand enormous threat.
