T-Mobile In Line with FCC Approval

T-Mobile HTC SnapT-Mobile is in the gossip tree as the grapevine is bursting with information that the carrier will be offering the HTC Snap now that the FCC has approved a version of this Windows phone using T-Mobile's 3G version.

T-Mobile currently utilizes UMTS/HSDPA, but with a 1700 MHz wireless network, a frequency no other carrier uses for 3G. So, when the FCC approves a version of the HTC Snap with 1700 MHz network, signs are in the air that T-Mobile will have it in it clutches soon.

 

 

The Snap is reported to debut on T-Mobile's network this July and expected to replace the T-Mobile Dash.  The HTC is also introducing the "Inner Circle" service that gathers emails from selected people to enable messages to viewed immediately.

HTC Snap is a slim Windows-based phone with strong messaging capabilities. At only a half-inch thick, and stuffed with a full keyboard and a trackball, this device is surely at the top of most lists.  It will be loaded with Windows Mobile 6.1on a 528 MHz processor with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/GPS/camera/microSD card slot and more!
